About Us

Our mission is to empower individuals and communities by creating spaces for shared resources, voluntary giving, and collective action.

Through mutual aid, we encourage the exchange of time, knowledge, and material support, ensuring that all members– regardless of background, identity, or financial status– have access to the resources they need. Our collective works to build resilience by supporting vulnerable and marginalized communities, including immigrants, Black, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, low-income, and other minority groups, using self-organized, egalitarian, and direct action approaches. We believe in fostering autonomy and dignity for all through cooperation, empathy, and respect for privacy, recognizing that mutual aid is not charity, but a powerful tool for social change and community care.

“I don’t believe in charity. I believe in solidarity. Charity is so vertical. It goes from the top to the bottom. Solidarity is horizontal. It respects the other person. I have a lot to learn from other people.”

Eduardo Galeano
